FAQ's 

 

 

Below are a few questions participants have about the Extravaganza that may contain helpful answers. Be sure to check back for updates.

 

  1. Do we have to stay at the same hotel that is hosting the Extravaganza?
    No. You can stay at any hotel. Although, it would be much easier for you to go back and forth if you were staying at the same hotel. Rates are discounted and the hotel provides amenities that you can use. Also, Mad Glitter's costs for the Extravaganza depends on the number of rooms used. Therefore, make it easy on yourself and stay at the same hotel with all of us. Mad Glitter is obligated to sell a certain number of rooms. It would help us (Mad Glitter) if you would stay at the venue hotel.

  2. Will I be able to take my supplies home on a plane?
    Most supplies can be taken on the plane. Most airlines will limit the amount of liquids you can take. Mad Glitter will offer shipping at cost. A shipping station will be set-up in the Mad Glitter Office at the event for your convenience. Boxes will be available. Boxes will be weighed, and payment is due at that time.

  3. What tumbler classes will be offered?
    Mad Glitter is currently working with all the Presenters determining the classes, schedule, techniques and supplies needed. The tumbler classes will be posted after confirmation from the Presenters. We are all working towards providing classes that may be challenging, unique and NOT the same tumblers you see in all the groups. We want to include the latest techniques if possible and we may not know that until it gets closer to the event. Everyone will be in the same class learning the same tumblers. No more than five (5) tumblers will be taught due to time restraints.

  4. Can I become a Sponsor or Vendor?
    Yes. You can find applications with details on the Sponsor and Vendor pages as soon as possible.

  5. Are there any payment plans offered for tickets?
    Yes. Sezzle is offered for your convenience. When purchasing your ticket, you will be able to select Sezzle and follow the steps. We also may offer cash app. 

  6. Will there be breaks or lunch scheduled?
    Yes, there will be a break scheduled during the morning and afternoon. A lunch break is also scheduled for each day.

  7. Will food and drinks be available during breaks and lunch?
    Yes. A lunch break will be scheduled, and participants will have enough time to purchase lunch at the food court connected to the hotel. There are also restaurants available inside the hotel.

  8. How long will I be in class each day?
    Classes will begin each day promptly at 9am. If you arrive late, you will miss the beginning steps. Therefore, plan accordingly. Classes will end approximately at 4-4:30pm each day, except on Sunday. The Extravaganza will end by 11am on Sunday.

  9. Can I work longer on my tumblers when class ends?
    Yes. Classrooms will be available until 5pm for those wanting to continue working.

  10. Can I participate as a Volunteer or a Presenter?
    Yes. Applications are available. Complete and submit to Mad Glitter.

  11. Will I be able to paint or seal my tumblers?
    Yes, there will be stations available for painting and sealing. In 2024 Mad Glitter is hoping to have ALL tumblers base coated and ready to begin with the next step.

  12. Will there be giveaways during the Extravaganza?
    Yes, Mad Glitter will have several items to giveaway along with items from the Sponsors and Vendors. You don't want to miss this event. The giveaways alone will be worth it.

  13. Will I be able to purchase additional supplies?
    Yes. There will be many Vendors there selling a variety of tumbler supplies in the Vendor room.

  14. Can I bring my family and what can they do while I am in class?
    Yes!! We encourage you to make this event part of your family vacation. Families will be able to tour Orlando and see the sights while you're in class. Classes end at approximately 4-4:30pm each day so you will be able to join your family and enjoy Orlando.

  15. Can people from the hotel, off the street, from the mall or vendor customers come in and shop? If so, what is the cost?
    Yes!! Anyone can come in and shop at the Vendor booths. Signs will be posted directing people to the Vendor room. Outsiders will NOT be allowed in the classrooms. NO fee will be charged to anyone coming in to shop at the booths.
